Is people pleasing a problem for you? Why do you think this behavior is so hard to change?

I think I was born a ppl pleaser...been one my own life its seems....thats how my drug addiction started...pleasing ppl.
I personally thing ppl please comes from wanting attention...I grew up lack of attention...and I remember at a young age i seeke it other places...some not so good...
so Ihave stay focused in my revovery and focus on me...cause when i try to please ppl...I get myself into trouble...thank you
