Why do you think it is frowned upon to talk about organized religion in recovery (unless sharing your own personal experience and you make it clear that this is YOUR belief, not NA's belief?

I thick that alot of us do worsip a higher power some dont, and the one's who do may have differnt gods than we do so its hard to talk about just one.Every one is differenet and some may not believe at all.

Because NA is a spiritual not religious program and it may scares somme new commers away or at least make them to where they don't feel a part of
recovery offers us the promise of freedom from active addiction but to get that promise takes effort on our part

We live in a diverse society where every person's faith and beliefs are different. There is not one established religion that everyone lives by. Being clean is a personal journey that is spiritual and everyone draws on their strengths from different places.
